GOOGLE CLASSROOM

“I never teach my pupils.
I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn.”
- Albert Einstein

Google Classroom
for Teachers

What is Google Classroom?

Google Classroom is an online platform that allows teachers to manage all the documents that their students need.

In the DPCDSB, students can access the online classroom at home or at school using a board device (i.e., EDWIN, Chromebook, Dell desktop) or a personal device (i.e., phone, laptop, tablet).

Documents are stored on Google Drive and can be edited in the various Drive’s apps (i.e., Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).

Change Google Classroom Theme

Add Students or Teachers to Google Classroom

Students can be invited to join a class through a private code, or automatically imported from a school domain.

Adding Subjects (Topics) to Google Classroom

Think of your Google Classroom as a virtual binder.  Teachers can add subject tabs called "Topics" to organize content in the Google Classroom.
